Conceived as a dual-purpose commercial space, Mie Ayam Dihidang merges the warmth of a Japanese-inspired noodle house with its sister establishment, Rumah Jahit Bhajoo. The design employs extensive timber elements—solid wood frames, panel cladding, and faux exposed ceiling beams—complemented by textured kamprot walls and distinctive blue roof tiles that reference traditional Japanese eateries. Responding to the sloped roadway, the building positions its solid wall and signage for maximum street visibility, while generous open areas accommodate shared parking. Part dining destination and part waiting lounge, the space transforms downtime into an aesthetic experience where the ritual of dining merges with the rhythm of creative enterprise.
